Postpartum has a way of making everything feel unfamiliar, including yourself.
There is a quiet pressure to reinvent who you are after becoming a mother.
New routines. New goals. A new version of you. What I did not expect was how grounding it felt to rebuild without starting over.
I did not need a new personality or a new purpose. I needed space to come back to myself slowly.
Rebuilding looked like keeping what still fit and gently releasing what did not. It looked like adjusting expectations instead of abandoning them. I am still the same person, just with different limits.
You are allowed to grow without erasing who you were before.
